Before too much time passes I just want everyone to know that the two-day seminar with Charon Kransen went very well, on March 17-18. Although we had a modest group (nine individuals) participate, the level of discussion was intense and enlightening. While there was a good amount of sharing going on, I think one of the most important aspects of the seminar was that Charon was able to direct students to which questions and concerns where important to consider when making the decision to be and survive as an artist. Of course, just making that decision is tough enough. There is no easy formula...there is no one path...there will be a lot of research...there will be sacrifices...
However, in the end if being an artist is what you want, then you need to make it happen and you have to know what you want.

You may think that this is all a romantic notion...but if we want to succeed as an artist, jeweler, etc. we need to be creative, take risks and just go for it!
