Just a few pics from Jan Harrell's enameling workshop that took place this past weekend. Jan is a fun instructor and such a great enamelist. The students walked away with plenty of great samples of all the techniques she taught.

Two fantastic people are visiting this week, enameling artist and teacher, Jan Harrell, and the first Artist-in-Residence for the Metals program.

Jan will be leading a 3-day workshop pertaining to enameling and imagery techniques. Her public lecture will be this Friday, June 25, at 6PM in the Ellison Lecture Hall (Navarro Campus) of the Southwest School of Art & Craft.

The second visitor this week is Jillian Palone - resin and metal artist. Recent graduate from Paulette Myer's MFA program at Southern Illinois Unversity Edwardsville, she will be the artist-in-residence for the Metal program both for the Fall and Spring term.
