David Huang's visit...

It was quite an honor to spend three days hosting David Huang, watching him teach and work. I admit it's been years since I've last raised a vessel and I definitely appreciate David's approach (and review for me). The real treat was watching how forcefully and yet ultra-precise David's hands and chasing hammer guide his tools while beginning to chase a design into the surface of a vessel filled with wax. And of course we talked shop about patinas as well.
