Well, what was supposed to have been my official first day on the job (yesterday) began with feeling a little more dizzy than usual and progressed quickly into a fever of 100.4 degrees F. So, needless to say, after recovery a bit, today was my first day officially at SSAC as the new chair of the metals program.
Among other items on the list, I had been thinking that starting a blog about the program may be a good idea...so, here it is!
