I'm pleased to announce that another two of my advanced metal/jewelry students from this past fall semester have also been juried into SNAG's Student Digital Slide Show, taking place during this year's conference. The maker of the spoon on top is Debra Szczepanski, and the one below is made by Brian Kempf. All three were asked to design a spoon that went beyond conventional utility, allowing their intended function to subvert, critique, reveal our interactions with everyday objects.

I know it's bit redundant to post this image again, but I'm really pleased to say that its maker, Sara Kreuter, one of my advanced metal/jewelry students, was selected to participate in both SNAG's Cresting: Student Digital Slide Show and Surge: Juried Student Exhibition. These will both be taking place during the annual conference, in Savannah, GA this year. I'm really proud for her.
