I was reviewing and adding names of artists to my resources section of my mechanical motion workshop handouts when I came across this artist...
I believe the name is Alfred Hoehn (there is not an English version of the site)

the works immediately reminded me of Jean Tinguely's meta-matic works...but a cleaner version.
