Ok, now it's official...it's posted on their website. In case some of the readers of my blog aren't on my personal email list, the latest and most exciting news is that I have accepted the position as Chair of the Metals Department at the Southwest School of Art and Craft. The faculty are great, the facilities are professional...I think this is really going to be great! So, that also means as of very soon I will no longer be calling Austin my home, and instead I will be making the move to San Antonio.

I am teaching a class for the Metals Dept. right now and upon coming in early and accepting the offer for Chair, I proceeded to the Metals Studio to begin prepping for my class...little did I know that one of the photography instructors was waiting there to take my photo...glad I wore a nice shirt!! I always think I look dorky in photographs...but I have to say that the bright red, green and blues in the photo match the style of my more recent works.
