Well, after considering this issue for a few days I think that I am NOT going to have a completely separate blog for the SSAC metals program. Especially after having met last week with SSAC's marketing/pr director and finding out that the school plans to implement a new website design (probably in May) which will include a school blog that all the dept. chairs will have access to. I'd rather work on having a section of the metals program area of the school site dedicated to examples of instructor's work and outstanding examples of student works.

Anyhoo, I guess this post really only concerns returning and new students.
